London will witness a world first when Africa Village opens at Kensington Gardens this summer.

For the very first time at an Olympic Games, the 53 African National Olympic Committees are coming together to host one, special, dedicated NOC house.

Visitors are invited to discover the cultural, artistic and sporting richness of Africa. Inside Africa Land will be modern and traditional music concerts, fashion, dancing, photo exhibitions and a restaurant. There’ll be Nigerian musicians, Tunisian singers, bands from Morocco and a famous Senegalese artist. In addition, you can see a photo exhibition of legendary African sportsmen and women from previous Olympic Games.
