This year’s History Day will be bigger and better than ever! Organised by Senate House Libraries and the Institute of Historical Research, it will take place in and around Senate House’s Beveridge Hall between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The event is aimed at history researchers at all levels, whether you are a PhD or MPhil student, an early career researcher, or writing an MA or undergraduate thesis. Or perhaps you are undertaking research in a personal capacity.

There will be representatives from over over 60 Libraries and Archives and related organisations from in and around London. A programme of lightening talks under the headings Using archives and libraries, Archiving institutions, Digital tools and methods and Researching people across collections will run during the day.

For a full outline of participating institutions and a provisional programme of the talks, go to the IHR Blog

The event is free, but advance registration is required. Go to : https://www.history.ac.uk/events/event/16148
