Have you ever wanted to start a blog? Did you know where to publish it? How to create webpage? What to write? Would you like some help?
The SOAS History Blog has the answers – and some new friends! – just for you. All students, staff and alumni are welcome to join us for light refreshments and a crash course on blogging. Founded in May 2021, the SOAS History Blog has quickly become a major digital platform for the SOAS community to share interdisciplinary, boundary-breaking, and innovative research in the area of history and beyond. No experience is required, just and urge to create. Plus, find out how you can get published on our platform!
The event shall begin with a 20 minute ‘crash course’ talk on how to start a blog, followed by drinks and networking with the editors, SOAS staff, previous contributors, and prospective authors. Everyone is welcome.
