Webinar: Cross-border movements between Kenya and Somalia

This webinar examines the dynamics of cross-border movements between Kenya and Somalia, focusing on the drivers and socio-economic outcomes of these movements, in addition to the impact of informal and formal border crossings on mobility decisions. The webinar draws inspiration from two REF papers, Circular Returns between Kenya and Somalia & Borderlands Infrastructure and Livelihoods, exploring the themes of circular returns of refugees, cross-border movements (both formal and informal) toward socio-economic ends, and the role of the border in simultaneously creating opportunities and erecting barriers.
