The long-delayed publication of the 2nd ICAANE Proceedings has now been achieved in the online open access series OrientLab Special Issues (one may refer to the Preface in vol. 1 for an account of the editorial process). 88 papers have been included in the Proceedings reflecting the state of scholarship as of 2001, but in fact still providing a rich harvest of data and suggestions thus enriching our field.
