The Shubbak Festival is back in London 11-26th July 2015

The Shubbak Festival is back in town for another fortnight of inspiring events (gigs, talks, films, theater, and family events)  providing a Window on Contemporary Arab Culture, from 11th-26th July 2015.

To note: this year the Shubbak Literature Festival is organised in cooperation with the British Library and will includes talks on 25th and 26th July such as :

The Rise of Arabic Literature in English,

Writing Change: Words in times of Conflict and Crisis,

The ‘Astonishing Form’: An Evening of poetry from across the Arab World.
