Students who are new to social science research should take a look at the Research Ethics Guidebook website which has recently been developed at the Institute of Education with funding from the ESRC. It can serve as guide through the regulatory processes and procedures that can apply to social science research and it also links to more detailed information as well as the six ethics principles set out in the ESRC Framework for Research Ethics. The site also includes a section on permissions and approvals and a keyword search.

To visit the site go to: http://www.ethicsguidebook.ac.uk/
