Guardian’s recommendation of global development tweeters

This March saw eight years since Twitter came on to the scene and it has proved to be useful tool for both academic and professional networking. With that in mind Development Studies students and researchers might want to take a look at Maeve Shearlaw’s article published in the Guardian earlier this year of the “movers and shakers” who regularly tweet on a variety of Development related issues. They include Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka – the Executive Director of UN Women, Dominic MacSorley – an aid worker with Concern and Duncan Green – Oxfam’s senior strategic adviser.
