This week marks India Music Week!

India Music Week is an online effort to identify and catalog all the recordings of Asian Indian Music throughout the world, and introduce you to ideas and music from this vibrant culture. It will remain active as an online resource to make this culturally significant body of work readily available to people around the globe for study and enjoyment.
Tha Archive includes: a gallery of Indian cover albums, including Mira Nair (Director of The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Mondoon Wedding and Salaam Bombay, to name a few) will be discussing the role of music in her films and lots of events are taking place to celebrate Indian music and culture. To find out more about the free online database of Indian recordings from around the world, click here:
