Organised under the theme of ‘Transitions’, our 7th annual Forum will generate conversation on the changing political, economic, and socio-cultural structures that are shaping Africa’s transitions both externally and from within. The discussion will be placed within the broader framework of the interplay of integration, migration, and innovation on the continent. It will explore the interface between migration and historic relics such as modern-day slavery, reviewing its implications for the transition towards an ‘integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa’. Our youth panel will explore this interplay in the context of Africa’s socio-cultural transitions, bringing forth the thoughts of young African influencers and personalities to discuss issues of cultural identity, political change, and activism. Lastly, looking towards the AU’s 2063 vision, the Forum will look at the transitioning economic policies and political dynamics in the movement towards sustainable growth and development on the continent.

Taking place across March 2nd and 3rd, join us for a Keynote Lecture and reception on Friday evening, continuing with a Saturday full of panels and workshops, and concluding with an evening networking reception.

A note for attendees: the Friday keynote and Saturday panel talks are free, with registration. The Saturday workshops and networking reception require a premium ticket.
