After collecting 140 hours of interviews and focus groups, and analysing survey responses from over 2,000 students at 132 universities the results show two clear contradictions. On the one hand many students say they enjoy a multifaith, multicultural university experience.  Yet on the other hand we found evidence of discrimination at all levels against Muslims and students and staff of colour. Our research is very important because we can explain why this is happening and suggest improvements.
