Trial access to Eastlaws database: full text case law & legislation from the Middle East & North Africa

From February 8 until March 8 SOAS has trial access to Eastlaws, a full text Arabic language database of legislation and court rulings covering a large number of Middle East & North African countries.

Eastlaws includes over 1 million pieces of legislation and over 160.000 court rulings across all jurisdictions.

Countries covered include:
Algeria
Bahrain
Egypt
Iraq
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Libya
Morocco
Oman
Palestine
Saudi Arabia
Sudan
Syria
Tunisia
United Arab Emirates
Yemen

During the trial period access is via a generic, shared username/password emailed to all SOAS Law School staff & students on February 8. SOAS staff & students from other departments should email Bob Burns for the username/password if they would like to use Eastlaws during the trial period.
